There are a few simple rules to access a 24+ Loan
Remember getting a loan doesn’t depend on your household income and there’s no credit check.
You’ll only start making repayments when if your income is more than £404 per week, £1,750 per month or £21,000 per year. 24+ Loans are Government backed, so repayments are really low, starting at less than £7.00 per month. Even then your employer can contribute or pay the loan in full.
|Income each year before tax||Monthly salary||Monthly repayment|
|Up to £21,000||£1,750||£0|
Making repayments is simple; the agreed amount is taken automatically out of your wages, so you don’t need to worry about missing a payment.
Remember, if you stop working, your repayments stop too,
and only restarts when you earn more that £21,000.
